Si bien CHR es una entidad rara,

las implicancias en el tratamiento de otras

enfermedades más comunes como retinitis

pigmentosa (1 en 3 mil pacientes) o incluso

DMRE (1 en 4 pacientes sobre 75 años) son

enormes.
